31 Jul 2026
Electronic Nature welcomes dAPULEO with “Funky Floor,” a groove-led house cut rooted in classic dancefloor energy and modern club functionality. Built around infectious rhythm, rolling movement, and feel-good momentum, the single is designed to ignite packed rooms and late-night sessions alike.
“Funky Floor” blends punchy drums, funky bass movement, and crisp rhythmic detail into a driving club groove packed with energy and personality. Warm percussion and rolling low-end flow keep the momentum locked throughout, while playful vocal touches and fluid movement give the track its infectious character. Direct, uplifting, and built with the dancefloor firmly in mind, it captures the timeless spirit of house music while maintaining a sharp, modern edge.
Born in Caserta, Italy, Giovanni d’Apuleo, aka dAPULEO, developed a passion for music from an early age before establishing himself within the international house scene. In 2018, he officially joined the renowned Angels of Love family, a respected collective known for hosting legendary artists including Carl Cox, Frankie Knuckles, Steve Lawler, Loco Dice, David Morales, Deep Dish, Luciano, Louie Vega, and Kenny Dope. His debut appearance with the collective came during their 27th anniversary celebration at Golden Gate Disco, where he shared the booth with Todd Terry, Tedd Patterson, Simon Dunmore, and Ultra Naté.
Since then, dAPULEO has continued building momentum through performances alongside names including Masters At Work, Anané Vega, and Barbara Tucker, while releasing music on respected labels such as New York’s legendary King Street Sounds, Dopewax, DIRIDIM, DPE, and Roush. With growing support from DJs across the electronic scene, he continues to establish himself as a producer deeply connected to the roots and ongoing evolution of house music.
“Funky Floor” marks another strong addition to the evolving sound of Electronic Nature.
